IT Executive

Skyscrapers is seeking a dedicated IT Executive to join our team at Gulberg Greens, Islamabad. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your technical expertise and passion for networking will be highly valued. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience in networking and IT services, with a strong commitment to maintaining and improving IT infrastructure. This position requires working onsite with rotational shifts, providing hands-on support for both hardware and software systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Regularly assess IT infrastructure to ensure smooth and efficient system operations.
- Oversee daily IT department functions, including management of hardware and software resources.
- Administer and maintain routers, switches, and CCTV camera systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Safeguard data security by managing network access, backups, and implementing encryption and secure storage solutions.
- Coordinate IT needs and support for in-house staff, remote employees, vendors, and contractors.
- Manage office networking infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity.
- Assist with the installation and configuration of new hardware and software.
- Monitor and manage departmental quotas to optimize resource utilization.
- Provide recommendations for IT upgrades and improvements to enhance system performance and security.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in networking and IT services.
- Strong understanding of networking principles, protocols, and security measures.
- Proficiency in managing routers, switches, and CCTV systems.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot network-related issues effectively.
- Familiarity with data protection techniques, including encryption and secure data storage.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work collaboratively across departments.
- Experience in managing IT infrastructure and departmental quotas.
- Willingness to work onsite in rotational shifts.
