SHINE Humanity is seeking a dedicated IT Helpdesk Officer to join their team at Defense Phase-6, Karachi. This role is ideal for someone passionate about ensuring the smooth and secure operation of IT systems within a dynamic organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and helping to resolve hardware and network issues to keep the organization’s technology running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware including PCs, printers, and scanners.
- Monitor and manage LAN/WAN networks, internet connectivity, and associated network devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware and network problems, providing timely support to end-users.
- Ensure system security by managing antivirus updates and backup procedures.
- Maintain accurate IT asset records and documentation for the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of practical experience in hardware and network support.
- Strong understanding of routers, switches, and both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Certifications such as A+, Network+, or CCNA are considered advantageous.
- This is a full-time, in-person position based in Karachi.
- The monthly salary range is Rs55,000 to Rs60,000.
- The expected start date for this role is July 28, 2025.
