IT Infrastructure Analyst

The IT Infrastructure Analyst role at CORA Loyalty, a division of Jonas Software under Constellation Software, is responsible for implementing, administering, supporting, and continuously improving the enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud platforms. This position ensures the availability, security, performance, and scalability of technology services while providing an excellent employee experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Azure, Windows Server, and endpoint management, alongside operational knowledge of security platforms including Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, and Qualys. The role involves ongoing evaluation of infrastructure and security controls to balance cybersecurity, operational efficiency, and business productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft 365 & Cloud Administration: Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID. Oversee user identities, licenses, groups, and authentication policies. Administer Azure infrastructure and enforce Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication, identity governance, and Zero Trust security controls. Ensure platform availability, reliability, and compliance.

Endpoint Management & Device Administration: Administer Microsoft Intune and enterprise endpoint management solutions. Manage Windows device lifecycle from provisioning to retirement, develop configuration profiles and compliance policies, and support mobile device management across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. Maintain secure endpoint standards while optimizing productivity.

Infrastructure & Server Operations: Support Windows Server environments, manage OS updates, patching, and vulnerability remediation. Assist with cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, and technology refresh projects. Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, and performance. Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Security Operations & Governance: Administer Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Qualys, and related security tools. Investigate security alerts related to endpoints, identity, and infrastructure. Review and optimize security controls such as Conditional Access, Device Compliance, Data Loss Prevention, Intune Compliance Policies, Network Security Rules, and Secure Web Gateway Policies. Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to implement best practices.

Security Policy Optimization: Review existing security controls to reduce complexity and avoid overly restrictive configurations. Recommend improvements aligned with Zero Trust and least-privilege principles to enhance user experience. Evaluate business requests and provide risk-based security recommendations balancing operational efficiency with security.

Operational Support: Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for infrastructure, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications. Support Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes. Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and runbooks. Develop troubleshooting procedures and guidance for Tier 1 Service Desk teams. Participate in on-call support and major incident resolution.

Automation & Continuous Improvement: Identify automation opportunities using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and other platforms. Leverage AI tools to enhance documentation, scripting, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency. Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to improve service quality, security, and operations. Promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years in enterprise IT infrastructure, systems administration, or IT operations. Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 environments and hands-on expertise with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Azure, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive. Experience supporting Windows Server environments and enterprise endpoint security solutions. Proficient in PowerShell scripting. Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Preferred certifications include Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Information Security Administrator Associate, and Messaging Administrator Associate. Experience with Microsoft Defender XDR, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Qualys, ITIL Foundation, and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is advantageous. Familiarity with PCI DSS and AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) is a plus.
