IT Intern

We are seeking a motivated IT Intern to join our Information Technology department for a three-month onsite internship at our E-11 Islamabad office. This role is designed for individuals eager to gain practical experience by working closely with our IT team. You will engage with real systems and tools, supporting the technology that drives daily business operations. Prior expertise is not required; instead, we value curiosity, a strong willingness to learn, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the IT team with daily tasks such as troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in setting up, configuring, and maintaining computers, printers, and other office equipment.
- Help with user account creation, access management, and basic system administration.
- Maintain IT inventory, asset records, and documentation.
- Provide first-level support to staff and log issues in the ticketing system.
- Assist with software installation, updates, and basic data backups.
- Participate in small projects including application testing, data organization, and improving internal tools.
- Prepare simple reports, user guides, and technical documentation.
- Adhere to company policies regarding data security, confidentiality, and responsible use of IT resources.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows and ideally Linux), and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of AI tools and their practical applications to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL is advantageous.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow directions effectively.
- Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
