IT Manager

Indigo Heights Hotel in Lahore is looking for a skilled and experienced IT Manager to lead and manage the hotel’s entire IT infrastructure and technology operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all IT systems, maintaining network security, protecting data, and providing continuous technical support to all hotel departments. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing hardware, software, networks, and IT staff, ensuring that technology supports the hotel’s operational needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Network Management: Oversee and maintain the hotel’s IT infrastructure, including servers, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity. Ensure all IT systems operate without interruption across departments. Monitor network performance regularly and resolve any technical issues promptly.

Hotel Management Systems: Manage and support hotel-specific software such as Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), and other operational platforms. Liaise with software vendors for upgrades, troubleshooting, and technical assistance. Ensure seamless integration and efficient operation of all hotel management systems.

IT Security & Data Protection: Develop and enforce IT security policies, access controls, and data protection measures. Conduct regular data backups and establish disaster recovery plans. Monitor cybersecurity threats and prevent unauthorized access to systems.

Hardware & Software Management: Supervise the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, CCTV systems, and other IT equipment. Maintain accurate inventories of IT assets and software licenses. Ensure timely repair or replacement of faulty hardware.

Team & Departmental Coordination: Lead and manage the IT team by assigning daily tasks and providing technical support and training to staff. Collaborate with heads of departments to understand and fulfill their technology requirements. Manage relationships with IT vendors, service contracts, and procurement processes.

Budgeting & Reporting: Prepare and manage the IT department’s budget, monitoring expenses closely. Keep detailed records of IT incidents, maintenance activities, and system downtimes. Provide regular reports on IT performance and operations to hotel management.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant IT experience, preferably within the hotel or hospitality sector.
- Strong expertise in networking, servers, cybersecurity, hardware, and software management.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and lead IT teams effectively.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience with hotel-specific systems such as PMS, POS, CCTV, and access control systems is highly desirable. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs150,000 to Rs200,000. This is a full-time, in-person role based at Indigo Heights Hotel, Lahore.
