IT Manager-Team Lead

Saleem Fabrics, based in Lahore, is looking for a skilled IT Manager / Team Lead to oversee its IT infrastructure and lead the technical team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Retail Pro and Retail Pro Prism systems, including system administration, troubleshooting, inventory management, and handling multi-branch retail operations. This role requires managing day-to-day IT functions while ensuring seamless integration and operation of retail software across all branches.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the IT team to ensure efficient daily operations and timely resolution of technical issues.
- Oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, software, and system security protocols.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot system-related problems across multiple retail locations.
- Manage system backups, data security, user access controls, and maintain comprehensive IT documentation.
- Coordinate with external vendors and software support teams to ensure smooth system updates and maintenance.
- Administer and manage Retail Pro and Retail Pro Prism systems across all retail branches, ensuring uninterrupted POS operations, inventory synchronization, stock transfers, and transaction processing.
- Configure Retail Pro Prism settings, manage user permissions, and resolve system errors or connectivity issues.
- Monitor product master data, SKUs, pricing, inventory adjustments, and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Facilitate accurate data synchronization between branches and the head office.
- Collaborate with Retail Pro vendors for system upgrades, maintenance, and technical support.
- Train and guide staff on the use of Retail Pro Prism functionalities and operational procedures to maximize efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant IT experience, preferably within the retail or textile industry.
- Proven experience in IT team leadership or supervisory roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Retail Pro and Retail Pro Prism systems is essential.
- In-depth understanding of POS systems, retail inventory management, and database administration.
- Solid knowledge of networking, hardware, software troubleshooting, and IT security best practices.
- Excellent leadership abilities combined with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Capability to manage IT operations across multiple retail branches and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Retail Pro Prism administration and implementation.
- Familiarity with multi-branch retail IT operations.
- Knowledge of POS integration and inventory management systems.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Skills in IT infrastructure planning and team supervision.

Candidates with demonstrated success in managing Retail Pro Prism operations and leading IT teams in a multi-branch retail environment will be highly preferred.

This position requires working on-site at the Lahore location.
