IT & Network Support Officer (DBA Support)

Vision Plus Technologies is looking for a skilled and proactive IT & Network Support Officer (DBA Support) to join their team in Johar Town, Lahore. This full-time, on-site role involves managing the company’s IT infrastructure, troubleshooting network and hardware issues, and providing essential database administration support. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, networking, or system administration.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and internet connectivity.
- Provide technical support for laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and surveillance systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.
- Assist with Oracle and SQL Server database monitoring, backups, restoration, and routine maintenance.
- Manage user accounts, system access, antivirus protection, and basic IT security measures.
- Maintain IT inventory, equipment records, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors and internet service providers to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline is mandatory.
- 2 to 3 years of practical experience in IT support, networking, or system administration.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and network troubleshooting techniques.
- Hands-on experience with computer hardware, CCTV systems, printers, and internet connectivity.
- Basic knowledge of Oracle Database or Microsoft SQL Server administration.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, or other relevant IT credentials are highly desirable.
- Experience working with Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
- Familiarity with database backup, recovery, and performance monitoring processes.
