We are looking for a committed IT professional to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and network systems across both Windows and Linux platforms. This role demands strong troubleshooting abilities, experience supporting cross-platform environments, and a proactive attitude toward managing IT resources and providing user support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, systems, networks, and peripherals on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct regular maintenance, repairs, and updates on computer systems and peripherals to maintain optimal performance.
- Set up and manage external storage solutions, including RAID configurations and My Book drives, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Provide IT support to staff by assisting with system and application-related issues to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
- Manage IT inventory by tracking equipment and coordinating timely procurement to meet organizational requirements.
- Support cross-platform compatibility efforts, including running Windows applications on Linux systems.
- Assist with general IT-related tasks such as data entry, content proofreading, database maintenance, and operating office equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent practical experience in the field.
- Familiarity with converting Adobe Illustrator (AI) files to HTML format.
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems, particularly Ubuntu, as well as macOS environments.
- Experience with routers and switches, including basic network setup and troubleshooting skills.
