IT Officer

We are seeking a skilled IT Officer to join our team and provide comprehensive technical support across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various IT equipment, ensuring smooth network operations, and safeguarding company data. This role requires hands-on experience with hardware, software, and network systems, along with the ability to work independently and resolve issues efficiently. The position is based on-site, offering a competitive monthly salary.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and troubleshoot computer systems, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide timely technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems and software applications as needed.
- Manage and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and email systems to maintain seamless communication.
- Upload, download, and maintain employee attendance data through the attendance machine/system accurately.
- Regularly monitor internet connectivity and resolve any network or internet-related problems promptly.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and recording equipment to ensure security measures are upheld.
- Ensure CCTV cameras function properly and maintain recorded footage in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor unauthorized access attempts and assist in protecting company data against cyber threats.
- Perform regular data backups and maintain the security and confidentiality of sensitive company information.
- Keep detailed IT records and coordinate with external IT vendors for specialized technical support when required.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide prompt technical assistance to end-users.

Compensation and Work Environment

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs45,000 to Rs50,000. This is an in-person role, requiring the candidate to be present at the designated work location to effectively manage IT operations and support.
