IT Operations & Infrastructure Intern

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Operations & Infrastructure Intern to join our technical team at our on-site location in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi. This paid internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, network management, cloud environments, systems administration, and enterprise tools. Key Responsibilities

- Assist in maintaining and monitoring office network equipment, including routers, switches, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Support installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades of Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
- Help manage Google Workspace and Zoho Mail accounts, including user accounts, aliases, and inbox troubleshooting.
- Support basic management and monitoring of cloud servers, specifically within Hetzner and AWS environments.
- Assist with domain management tasks, including handling DNS records such as A, CNAME, MX, TXT, SPF, and DKIM.
- Maintain and update records of company IT hardware, software licenses, and other technology assets.
- Provide routine IT support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and infrastructure-related assistance.
- Follow basic IT security protocols and access-control procedures to ensure system integrity.

Required Qualifications

- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer networks, operating systems, and IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems; knowledge of Linux or Mac is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of DNS, domain management, and cloud computing concepts is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and engage in a hands-on technical environment.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
