IT Solution Associate Software Developer

We are seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack .NET Developer with strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET/.NET Core, SQL Server, REST APIs, Angular/Blazor, Razor, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on both modern and legacy applications, developing scalable solutions, optimizing database performance, and supporting production systems and deployments. This is a one-year contract position based in Islamabad, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance full-stack applications using C#, VB.NET, .NET, and .NET Core/ASP.NET Core.
- Develop and integrate secure, scalable REST APIs utilizing Entity Framework, EF Core, LINQ, Dapper, and standard design patterns.
- Build responsive web interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, Razor, Blazor, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Maintain and improve legacy applications built with C#, VB.NET, WinForms, and WebForms.
- Write complex SQL Server queries, stored procedures, functions, views, CTEs, joins, and transactions.
- Perform SQL query and database performance tuning, including indexing, execution plans, stored procedure optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, JWT, RBAC, and claims-based security.
- Develop, test, document, and troubleshoot APIs using tools such as Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Work with Kafka for messaging, event-driven processing, and system integrations.
- Deploy and support applications on Azure and AWS, and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Use Git for source control, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and releases.
- Write unit and integration tests and support automated testing efforts.
- Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing logs, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing fixes.
- Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Business Analysts, Mobile Developers, QA, DevOps, Database, and UI/UX teams throughout development and release cycles.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET, and .NET Core/ASP.NET Core frameworks.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS-SQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Redis.
- Proficient in Entity Framework/EF Core and LINQ.
- Advanced SQL Server skills, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, cursors, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Proven experience developing and testing REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Angular and/or Blazor, along with knowledge of Razor, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience maintaining legacy applications using VB.NET, WinForms, and WebForms.
- Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, API security, and authorization protocols.
- Experience working with Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.
- Strong version control skills using Git.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes, Docker, unit testing, debugging, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to produce clear and thorough technical documentation.
- Competence in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure application reliability.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems architecture.
- Familiarity with Clean Architecture principles, SOLID design principles, and common design patterns.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, MSTest, and mocking libraries like Moq.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
- Understanding of API management and cloud monitoring tools.
- Experience in modernizing legacy .NET applications is a plus.
