We are looking for a skilled IT Support and Infrastructure Specialist to oversee and maintain our company’s IT environment. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices while providing timely technical support to employees. This role requires a proactive approach to managing network connectivity, security, and system updates. Additionally, the specialist will coordinate with external vendors to support IT procurement and maintenance activities. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple IT-related tasks efficiently in an onsite work setting are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, email, and network-related issues.
- Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and network security to ensure reliable and secure operations.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and antivirus solutions to keep systems current and protected.
- Manage user accounts, access rights, backups, and data security to safeguard company information.
- Coordinate with external vendors for IT procurement, repairs, and support services, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain IT inventory, asset records, and documentation for accurate tracking and compliance.
- Support meeting rooms, video conferencing, and event-related IT requirements to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards to uphold organizational integrity.
- Assist in implementing new technologies and process improvements to enhance IT operations and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in IT support and infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, networking concepts, routers, switches, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and coordinate within a team.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while managing multiple IT tasks efficiently.
Compensation and Work Location
- Salary starting from Rs 80,000 per month.
- This is an in-person position requiring the candidate to work onsite.
