We are offering a remote Cybersecurity & IT Support Internship on a night shift basis, beginning September 26, 2025. This six-month unpaid internship is tailored for motivated final-year students or recent graduates in Computer Science or IT who have a foundational understanding of IT support tools and cybersecurity principles. Interns will support the IT operations of a U.S.-registered company from Pakistan, working Monday through Saturday from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM PKT. This role is designed for individuals ready to engage in a real-time technical environment under expert supervision, rather than for beginners seeking basic training. Successful completion of the internship will be recognized with a professional experience letter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time technical support within IT and cybersecurity settings.
- Monitor endpoint protection systems, backups, and user access controls.
- Assist with system security layers and user management protocols.
- Follow documentation and compliance standards, including HIPAA and SOC 2.
- Report, track, and manage support tickets, write summaries, and maintain accurate logs.
Required Qualifications:
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- Basic troubleshooting skills on Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of system security layers and endpoint security fundamentals.
- Familiarity with command-line interfaces, remote support tools, and ticketing workflows.
- Proficient English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work night shifts and maintain professionalism in a remote work environment.
- Access to a laptop or desktop computer with a reliable internet connection.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with antivirus management dashboards, cloud storage policies, two-factor authentication (2FA), or GSuite administration tools is advantageous.
- Academic and previous employer verification may be requested to confirm eligibility.
- Upon successful completion, interns will receive a professional experience letter from the U.S.-registered company.
- Please note that early exits or underperformance will disqualify candidates from receiving certification.
