Hasan Suleman Memorial Hospital (HSMH), a 312-bed welfare hospital under development in Malir, Karachi, is preparing for its planned opening in December 2026. Committed to delivering safe, quality, and patient-centered healthcare services, HSMH is seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to ensure seamless operation of its IT infrastructure. This role is critical in supporting hospital readiness by maintaining systems, networks, and user support to facilitate a smooth launch.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and policies within Active Directory.
- Troubleshoot and support LAN, Wi-Fi, network switches, IP phones, and connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain PCs, operating systems, and essential applications.
- Support hospital-specific systems including CCTV and VoIP infrastructure.
- Monitor and manage backups, antivirus solutions, and system patch updates.
- Log, track, and resolve IT support tickets within established service level agreements.
- Maintain accurate IT asset records and documentation.
- Assist with IT setup, testing, and overall hospital opening readiness activities.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT support or helpdesk roles, preferably within hospitals, healthcare facilities, or large organizations.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information:
- Experience working in healthcare environments is highly desirable due to the specialized nature of hospital IT systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to support end-users effectively.
- Willingness to work on-site at the hospital location in Malir, Karachi.

This position requires the candidate to work in person at the hospital site located at Plot #89, Deh Khanto, Taluka Ibrahim Hyderi, District Malir, Karachi. Candidates should be prepared to commute independently.
