Tech Bridge Consultancy (TBC) is seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer with 2 to 4 years of practical experience in Linux administration, networking, Layer 3 switches, and firewalls. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting IT infrastructure, managing Linux servers, and ensuring secure and reliable network connectivity. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gulberg, Lahore.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems and servers.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Layer 3 switches, including VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, and routing protocols.
- Configure, manage, and maintain firewalls, including firewall rules, access control policies, and network security settings.
- Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, routing, and switching issues.
- Monitor server performance, network traffic, system availability, and connectivity.
- Manage Linux user accounts, permissions, system updates, security patches, and log analysis.
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, operating systems, and network-related issues.
- Perform routine server maintenance, backups, and basic recovery procedures.
- Implement network security measures and troubleshoot connectivity and access issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and IT asset records.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in IT support, Linux administration, and networking.
- Proficiency with Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, or Rocky Linux.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
- Practical experience configuring and troubleshooting Layer 3 switches and inter-VLAN routing.
- Hands-on experience with firewall configuration, security policies, access control lists, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with routing protocols such as OSPF and static routing.
- Knowledge of SSH, Linux command-line tools, user permissions, and system log analysis.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Candidates should be comfortable working on-site in Gulberg, Lahore, and ideally reside within the city. Applicants will be asked about their years of professional IT support experience, English communication skills, and willingness to work on-site.
