Union Developers (Pvt.) Ltd. is looking for a competent IT Support Executive to join their Lahore-based team. The successful candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in providing first-line technical support and be adept at troubleshooting both hardware and software issues. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of the company’s technology infrastructure, including network devices and security systems. The IT Support Executive will handle support requests efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to daily business activities while working closely with other IT staff when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line technical support to employees through a ticketing system or direct assistance, addressing IT-related issues promptly. Troubleshoot and resolve problems involving computers, software applications, printers, network connectivity, and other technology tools. Diagnose hardware and software faults, escalating complex issues to senior IT personnel as appropriate. Manage IT support requests and incidents efficiently to reduce downtime and maintain business continuity. Install and configure computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices to ensure optimal performance. Set up and maintain Network Video Recorders (NVRs) and IP cameras for effective security monitoring. Install and configure Cisco switches, routers, PBX systems, and Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices. Prepare new workstations by installing and configuring necessary software, ensuring they are ready for immediate use. Regularly update systems with the latest patches and software updates to enhance security and functionality. Assist in IT asset management by tracking devices and coordinating maintenance activities. Provide training and support to employees on technology tools, software applications, and best practices to improve overall IT literacy within the company.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering is essential. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in IT support or a comparable technical role, demonstrating hands-on expertise with hardware, software, and network systems.
