We are looking for a dependable and hands-on IT Support and Network Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining the physical network infrastructure, deploying essential software environments, and providing prompt, effective technical support throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will enjoy a balance of physical network setup and technical troubleshooting of software issues.

Key Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure & Cabling: Install, configure, and maintain physical internet and data cabling. This includes routing network wiring neatly, terminating connections, and ensuring strong hardware connectivity across all workstations.

Operating System Deployment: Perform clean installations, configurations, and updates of Windows operating systems on employee workstations and company devices.

Software Installation & Management: Deploy standard commercial applications, productivity software, and proprietary company software. Ensure all software is properly activated and configured for optimal use.

IT Issue Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for daily IT problems. Diagnose and resolve issues related to network connectivity, hardware malfunctions, system crashes, and software bugs efficiently.

Inventory & Asset Tracking: Maintain accurate records of all IT hardware, software licenses, peripherals, and network equipment. Track allocation, returns, and equipment lifecycle to ensure adequate stock levels.

System Maintenance: Keep detailed records of hardware and software modifications and conduct regular system checks to maintain optimal performance.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 1 to 2 years of proven experience as an IT Technician, Network Installer, or in a similar Helpdesk support role.

Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with physical network cabling, routing, and hardware such as routers, switches, and access points. Strong familiarity with Windows OS environments and deployment methods. Solid troubleshooting skills for both general software and internal business tools.

Attributes: A strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and the physical capability to handle tasks such as running network wires.

Compensation and Work Location

The salary range for this position is Rs40,000 to Rs50,000 per month. This role requires working on-site at the company’s location.
