IT Support Specialist

Located at Sundar Industrial Estate, Raiwind Road, Lahore, this role offers an opportunity for an IT Support Specialist to provide essential technical assistance within a dynamic work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth IT operations by supporting employees with daily IT needs, managing network connectivity, and maintaining system integrity. This position requires hands-on experience with hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, along with a proactive approach to IT security and system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily IT support to employees, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot IT equipment including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Manage LAN, Wi-Fi, and resolve basic network connectivity problems to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Maintain Windows operating systems, software applications, and perform regular system updates.
- Administer user accounts, manage emails, and control access permissions to safeguard information.
- Conduct routine data backups and assist in implementing IT security measures.
- Keep accurate records of IT equipment inventory and manage asset tracking.
- Coordinate with external vendors for equipment repairs and maintenance services.
- Support enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and other business software applications.
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of CCTV and biometric security systems.
- Adhere to IT security policies and data protection procedures to maintain compliance and protect company data.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware, networking fundamentals, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems, database management, and data backup processes.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to document technical issues clearly.

Compensation and Work Environment:
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs60,000 to Rs80,000. This is an in-person role based at the company’s Lahore office, providing direct interaction with users and hands-on management of IT infrastructure.
