IT Support/LAB Assistant

We are seeking a technically proficient and problem-solving oriented individual to join our team as a Lab Assistant. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related queries at the user level, ensuring timely responses to user needs and maintaining the smooth operation of all systems. This role also involves managing lab resources and providing technical support to enhance the overall efficiency of the lab environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first reference point for IT-related issues and user support within the lab.
- Respond promptly to user requests and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
- Ensure optimal functioning of computer systems, printers, projectors, scanners, and other lab equipment.
- Manage and maintain lab resources, ensuring all technical equipment is operational and well-maintained.
- Provide technical assistance and support for various software applications used within the lab.
- Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance lab operations and user experience.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification (BS/BE/B.Com). A degree in Computer Science is preferred.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in IT support are encouraged to apply.
- Hands-on experience with computer systems, hardware, and various software applications.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining printers, projectors, scanners, and speakers.
- Strong organizational skills with effective time management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with users and team members.
