We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Tax Accountant to join our financial team at JAMHex company Pvt Limited (B-17, Islamabad). This entry-level role is designed for individuals eager to develop their expertise in tax compliance and accounting processes. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in various tax-related activities and collaborate with senior accountants to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Responsibilities
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings
- Maintain and organize tax documentation and records for audits and compliance purposes
- Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax reports
- Make sure that clients comply with federal, state and local tax regulations
- Collaborate with senior accountants to review financial statements and assess tax implications
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and Taxation.
- Updating Financial records via accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software specially ERP.
Education:
- MBA, M.COM, BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
- Relevant certification (e.g. CA Inter, CMA & ACCA Inter) will be preferred.
- Internship or relevant experience in tax preparation or accounting
