CCTV Monitoring Officer

Jamil's Restaurant is seeking a diligent and reliable CCTV Monitoring Officer to oversee the security and surveillance operations within our premises. The ideal candidate plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the restaurant environment by continuously monitoring video feeds, promptly detecting suspicious activities, and accurately reporting incidents. This position requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency with video management software, and a strong commitment to maintaining data privacy standards. The work involves rotational shifts, including nights and weekends, demanding flexibility and trustworthiness. The CCTV Monitoring Officer collaborates with the security team and management to support loss prevention and operational safety. Candidates must possess at least a minimum intermediate education and a minimum of two years of experience in CCTV monitoring. Familiarity with Hikvision or Dahua surveillance systems plus prior experience in restaurant or retail settings will be advantageous. Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency to generate clear, concise reports in English are essential to successfully execute daily duties and uphold company security protocols.
Responsibilities

Continuously monitor live video feeds using Video Management Software (VMS) to identify and respond to unusual or suspicious activities.
Operate and manage CCTV hardware and software systems, including Hikvision and Dahua systems, ensuring proper functionality and timely maintenance reporting.
Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of security-related events in clear English, supporting investigations and audits.
Maintain strict compliance with data privacy regulations by safeguarding recorded footage and confidential information.
Collaborate closely with security personnel and management to escalate incidents and support prompt response measures.
Conduct root cause analysis whenever security breaches or incidents are detected to recommend preventive measures.
Perform regular system checks to ensure optimal performance of video surveillance equipment and report any technical issues promptly.
Adapt to rotational shift schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring continuous coverage and vigilance.
Demonstrate attention to detail by inspecting all monitors attentively to detect even minor irregularities or safety concerns in real time.
Assist in training new monitoring officers or team members by sharing best practices and operational procedures whenever required.
Contribute to creating a secure environment that deters theft, vandalism, and other security violations specific to restaurant or retail environments.
