Inventory Controller

The Inventory Controller works closely with suppliers and internal departments to coordinate receiving, issuance, transfers, and wastage management based on FIFO and FEFO principles. This role involves performing regular physical stock counts and quality control checks to maintain inventory integrity and prevent losses. The candidate does not manage a team but provides essential support to streamline vendor management and supplier relationships to ensure timely procurement and supply continuity. Strong communication and organizational skills are key to successfully executing daily inventory activities while adhering to company policies and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities

Manage daily inventory control activities including receiving, issuance, transfers, and stock reconciliations to maintain accurate inventory records.
Perform regular physical stock counts, monitor stock variances, and investigate discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
Implement and maintain FIFO (First In First Out) and FEFO (First Expire First Out) inventory procedures to minimize product wastage and spoilage.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries, verify product quality, and manage supplier documentation and compliance.
Utilize ERP software and MS Excel tools for tracking inventory data, generating reports, and analyzing stock movement trends.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement departments to avoid stockouts or overstocking situations.
Maintain supplier relationships and assist in vendor evaluation and performance management to support supply chain efficiency.
Ensure adherence to quality control standards and company policies in all inventory-related processes.
Prepare detailed inventory reports, including stock variance analysis and recommendations for process improvements.
Support audits and inspections by providing accurate stock records and demonstrating control procedures.
Assist in waste management practices by recording wastage data and suggesting corrective actions to reduce losses.
Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as finance, purchasing, and operations to ensure cohesive inventory management.
