We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with 3 to 4 years of experience to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Johar Town, Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development using Java and Spring Boot, along with hands-on experience in deploying and maintaining scalable web applications in production environments. Additionally, practical knowledge of Python scripting and familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React.js, Angular, and Vue.js are essential. The role requires a proactive individual who can manage application deployment, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications primarily using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices to support application functionality.
- Utilize Python for scripting, automation tasks, and backend integrations as needed.
- Contribute to frontend development efforts and API integration using React.js, Angular, and Vue.js.
- Work with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, focusing on database design, query optimization, and overall application performance.
- Manage application deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
- Employ Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Linux servers, and cloud platforms to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services to enhance application capabilities.
- Write clean, secure, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and actively participate in technical decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with QA teams, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to ensure reliable and high-quality application delivery.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 4 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot.
- In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA/Hibernate, and REST API development.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
- Mandatory experience with frontend technologies including React.js, Angular, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including schema design and query tuning.
- Proven experience in application deployment and providing production support.
- Practical knowledge of deploying applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with containerization using Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Linux environments, and version control systems like Git.
- Mandatory working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, coupled with effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to take ownership of technical tasks and provide guidance to junior team members.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS beyond the basics.
- Frontend development experience using React, Angular, or Vue.js frameworks.
- Familiarity with messaging and caching technologies such as Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience in automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
