We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with 3 to 4 years of experience in building, deploying, and maintaining scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development expertise in Java and Spring Boot, complemented by practical knowledge of application deployment and production environment management. Familiarity with Python scripting and frontend frameworks such as React.js, Angular, and Vue.js is also essential. This full-time, on-site position is based in Johar Town, Lahore.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design, build, and integrate REST APIs and microservices to support application functionality.
- Utilize Python for scripting, automation, and backend integrations as needed.
- Contribute to frontend development and API integration using React.js, Angular, and Vue.js.
- Work with SQL databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, optimizing queries and improving application performance.
- Manage application deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshoot production issues effectively.
- Operate with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Linux servers, and cloud platforms to ensure smooth deployment and operations.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services to enhance application capabilities.
- Write clean, secure, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and participate in technical decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with QA teams, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable and high-quality applications.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 4 years of relevant software development experience with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA/Hibernate, and REST API development.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, microservices architecture, and RESTful services.
- Mandatory experience with frontend technologies including React.js, Angular, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in working with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience in application deployment and production support.
- Practical experience deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Docker containers, CI/CD pipelines, Linux operating systems, Git version control, and cloud environments.
- Mandatory working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation tasks.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to take ownership of technical tasks and guide junior team members effectively.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS for enhanced frontend development.
- Prior work with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is highly valued.
- Knowledge of messaging systems and container orchestration tools like Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
