Java Senior Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in Java and Angular to join our team in Lahore or Faisalabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years in software development within the IT industry, including at least two years in a senior engineering capacity. This full-time, on-site role demands strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and leadership qualities to drive project success and foster a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust software designs and architectures aligned with project goals. Manage and prioritize tasks throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure timely delivery. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for various tools and applications. Automate repetitive processes using appropriate scripting and tools to improve efficiency. Identify and resolve technical blockers to maintain smooth workflow for the development team. Document project designs comprehensively and monitor system performance to ensure reliability. Establish and maintain processes for code management, documentation, infrastructure, and onboarding, including creating a detailed project wiki. Conduct thorough code reviews and debugging to uphold software quality standards. Perform validation and verification testing to guarantee product stability. Collaborate closely with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance product features. Mentor and coach team members to promote a positive and productive organizational culture. Demonstrate a strong understanding of deployment processes and provide necessary support. Assist in recruitment and onboarding activities to build a competent team. Manage provisioning and monitoring of development and customer environments. Lead estimation efforts for work packages and project components to support planning and resource allocation.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. At least five years of professional experience in Java and Angular development. Minimum of two years in a Senior Software Engineer role with proven leadership capabilities. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, with a strong focus on Java. Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases. Familiarity with integration technologies such as message queues and Kafka. Solid grasp of software design patterns and the ability to develop technical designs and architecture. Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and virtual machines. Proven experience in setting up end-to-end DevOps pipelines for testing and release management. Strong technical documentation skills, including creating architecture diagrams and detailed design documents. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and time management. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Critical thinking and problem-solving aptitude. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

Compensation and Work Environment:
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs20,000 to Rs40,000. This is a full-time, on-site role based in either Lahore or Faisalabad.
