Requirements:
- At least 2 years of professional experience in Java development;
- Strong understanding of the Java programming ecosystem.
Java Development:
- Experience with backend web development in Java using Spring Framework;
- Conceptual knowledge about object-oriented programming, design patterns and unit testing;
- Experience in troubleshooting and debugging Java Applications.
Web Development:
- Knowledge about backend web development concepts such as RESTful APIs, the MVC design pattern and ORMs;
- Experience in building and consuming APIs using the Spring Framework;
- Familiarity with relational databases such as postgres as well as the abstraction layers (ORMs) such as Spring Data;
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit;
- Basic understanding of frontend functionality
Other Requirements:
- Familiarity with version control tools such as svn and git;
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
