Secondary School female Teacher

JHM Academy Secondary School is seeking a dedicated Secondary School female Teacher with a strong background in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of teaching experience and a passion for educating and inspiring secondary school students. This role focuses on delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and creating an engaging learning environment that promotes intellectual growth and curiosity. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that students meet learning objectives and develop critical thinking skills within a supportive and inclusive classroom setting. The teacher will utilize effective classroom management techniques and formative assessment methods to monitor student understanding and tailor instruction accordingly. Collaboration with fellow educators, participation in school activities, and contributing to curriculum development are also important aspects of the role. While this position does not involve managing a team, the teacher is expected to cultivate positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to foster a strong educational community at JHM Academy Secondary School.
Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics aligned with the school curriculum.
Use classroom management strategies to maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment.
Assess student learning continuously using formative and summative assessment methods to provide timely feedback and support.
Adapt lesson plans and teaching techniques based on student needs and assessment outcomes to enhance student engagement and performance.
Develop and implement strategies to promote critical thinking, problem solving, and independent learning among students.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic performance, and behavior.
Communicate regularly with students and parents to discuss progress and address any concerns.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to contribute to curriculum development and school-wide academic initiatives.
Participate in professional development activities and school events to stay current with educational best practices and foster a vibrant school culture.
Support the holistic development of students by encouraging participation in extracurricular activities related to science and mathematics.
