JMA Resources is a US firm, currently looking for programming talent for its software development business in Pakistan.
We are, currently looking for a candidate with hands-on experience in Android application development. The potential candidate will lead the development and maintenance of applications aimed at the Android ecosystem. The primary focus will be on development and integration with back-end services. Therefore, a commitment to collaboration in problem-solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is necessary.
The candidate will be responsible for translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code, designing and implementing new mobile applications, features, and bug fixes, enhancing existing code, and participating in cross-functional teamwork such as code review, documentation, and defining specification.
Required Experience for Android Development:
- Android Studio and Java SDK, JSON, XML, REST
- Experience in all parts of the Android ecosystem including:
- Application development (application structure; device and operating system APIs; debugging; performance; security),
- Deployment, updating, and roll-out
- Third-party integration points include Gson, Facebook, and Google APIs.
- Should have strong OOP concepts.
- Good experience in making REST API Calls and error handling
- Good concept of how to better manage memory and CPU
- Handling on device SQL Lite database required for applications.
- Should have a strong memory and multi-threading management skills for the Android environment.
- Hands-on experience in publishing and deployment of Android apps.
- Multi-tasking with an ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
- Working experience in Web Services implementation.
PLUS: Knowledge of Google Android material design principles, iOS experience
