Company A rapidly growing UK-based accountancy practice is looking to recruit an Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our expanding Business Services Team in Rawalpindi. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience in general bookkeeping, preparation of accounts up to trial balance, and VAT returns for a diverse portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses. Most of the work will involve using Microsoft Excel, Xero, and QuickBooks , providing an excellent opportunity to develop practical accounting skills and gain exposure to UK accounting practices. Job Type: Contract to Permanent / Full-time Location: Bahria Town Phase 4, Rawalpindi Key Skills & Qualifications MBA in Accounting & Finance Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance, BBA, B.Com, M.Com, or a related field Basic understanding of accounting principles Good command of Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Key Responsibilities Perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities Bank reconciliation and transaction processing Processing supplier and debtor transactions Assist with the preparation of management accounts Assist with accounts up to trial balance Assist with the preparation of VAT returns Manage and respond to accounts-related emails Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Support the wider Business Services Team with accounting and administrative tasks What We Offer Training and development in UK accounting practices Practical experience working with Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel Exposure to a diverse portfolio of UK-based clients Opportunity for career progression and professional development Potential for a permanent position following the contract period If you are motivated, detail-oriented, and looking to build a career in accounting, we would love to hear from you.
