JOB VACANCY – HYDROJETTING JETTER OPERATOR

TSF Engineering Services is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Hydrojetting Jetter Operator to join our industrial maintenance team. This role involves working on projects within refineries, petrochemical plants, and various process industries. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating high-pressure water jetting equipment and a strong commitment to adhering to safety standards while performing cleaning and maintenance tasks on industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate high-pressure water jetting and hydrojetting machines safely and efficiently.
- Perform cleaning of tubes, heat exchangers, condensers, vessels, piping, and other equipment following approved procedures.
- Set up and manage high-pressure pumps, hoses, lances, nozzles, valves, and related accessories.
- Conduct pre-start inspections of jetting equipment, ensuring all connections and fittings are pressure-rated and secure.
- Monitor operating parameters such as pressure, flow rate, water supply, and equipment condition throughout operations.
- Comply with site-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements, including permit-to-work systems, personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols, and exclusion-zone controls.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and perform basic preventive maintenance as needed.
- Coordinate activities with supervisors, technicians, and QC/HSE personnel during hydrojetting operations.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment operation, pressures, completed work, and equipment status.
- Ensure the safe handling, storage, and transportation of high-pressure hoses and accessories.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in hydrojetting or high-pressure water jetting operations.
- Proven background in industrial cleaning and maintenance, preferably within refineries, petrochemical plants, power plants, or fertilizer facilities.
- Practical experience operating high-pressure water jetting machines and pumps.
- Solid understanding of high-pressure hoses, lances, nozzles, fittings, and associated safety devices.
- Ability to interpret and follow method statements, risk assessments, and HSE procedures accurately.
- Physically fit and capable of working in demanding industrial environments.
- Candidates with experience in heat exchanger tube cleaning and refinery maintenance are highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience in cleaning heat exchanger and condenser tubes.
- Skilled in hydrojetting vessels and piping systems.
- Familiarity with tube bundle cleaning techniques.
- Competence in operating high-pressure water jetting equipment at pressures ranging from 700 to 1,000 bar or higher.
- Knowledge of various jetting nozzles and lancing systems.
- Experience participating in refinery shutdowns and turnaround activities.

Location
This position is based in Karachi, working on refinery and industrial sites.

Employment Type
Full-time, project-based engagement.

Salary
A competitive salary will be offered, commensurate with experience and technical expertise. The expected pay range is Rs30,000 to Rs60,000 per month.
