• Responsible for reviewing and updating HSE SOPs/framework with functional HSE team.
  • Responsible to drive functional teams in implementation company’s HSE SOPs/framework.
  • Collaborate with functional Head HSE and organize monthly meetings.
  • Responsible to implement HSE annual objectives.
    • Conducting announced/unannounced inspections of own staff and the contractors/sub-contractors, risk assessments of activities, corporate locations, network locations, sales locations etc.
    • Conducting regular follow-up with functional Heads on closure of inspection observations, SOPs implementation, training and awareness objectives etc.  
    • Organize recognition programs on HSE SOPs/framework.
    • Driving implementation of Climate and Environment objectives.
    • Reviewing the ongoing development/rollout Projects with functional Heads and include HSE requirements in frame agreements.
    • Ensuring SOPs requiring evacuation drill are regularly conducted by functions.
    • Ensuring SLAs prepared by functions against HSE controls are timely renewed and requirements where missed are incorporated.
    • Ensuring communication using workplace portals, bulletins etc in collaboration with Communication team.  
    • Conducting HSE roadshows on HSE SOPs/framework.
  • Prepare update for HSE steerco meeting and P&O leadership meetings and ensuring HSE performance indicators/dashboard are available for ready reference for the management.
  • Ensuring fact finding of all the incidents, preparing the reports and following-up on preventive actions on monthly basis.
  • Preparing business case for HSE related investments for HSE steering committee’s approval.
  • Preparing content for HSE awareness programs for Corporate learning team.
  • Gap analysis of existing processes of functions and including HSE controls. 
  • Organize industrial collaboration on HSE best practices.
  • Organize HSE International events e.g ILO day on safety and health at work, world environment day, earth day etc and content for communication team.
  1. Qualification


BSc Engineering (preferably Electrical, Industrial, Chemical or Environmental Engineering).

Certifications: LAC 45001 and 14001 is mandatory. NEBOSH IGC is preferable.


  1. Experience:


  • Experience with power utility companies or telecommunication company is preferable.
  • Have implemented or certified HSE standards in the company.
  • Have strong knowledge HSE standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, NFPA etc), Regulatory and Legal requirements.
