Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science.
- Networking certification preferred. (CCNA, CCNP).
- One to two years of IT experience, especially on the network side.
- Hands-on experience with server deployment, network protocols and data center standards.
- Have knowledge of IT standards, guidelines and best practices.
- Have an overview of data center environment management.
- Work experience with a building management system will be an added advantage.
- Speaks English fluently and can create technical reports correctly.
- Expertise in databases and software development will be an added advantage.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- This is shift work (8.5 hours per shift)
- Ensure smooth running of IT and services in the main data center of the company.
- Monitor and manage the complete network and environment, especially during night shifts.
- Ensure network security and take action in the event of a security incident according to defined SOPs.
- Perform daily facility and service status review and submit report.
- Logs all complaints and coordinates resolution with vendors.
- Ensure zero curtailment and shift services to backup resources as directed by supervisor.
- Provide support to customers during their data center visits and on the phone.
- Coordinate and support a team of administrators for related services.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are followed.
- Keep track of all assets and manage inventory.
- Manage software license details and product keys.
