We are looking to add to our team a Data Scientist with a PhD in mathematics or statistics who has experience working with Postgres databases and various different data science tools (R, Python) as well as data mining and developing Machine Learning models and algorithms
Working from home, you will work to 1-week Agile sprints and your responsibilities will include:
- Data mining websites and social media channels
- Building Machine Learning Models and Algorithms
- Building data pipelines using Python
- Assisting in the development of the overarching data landscape and architecture
- Ad hoc data governance, assurance, and quality tasks
- Ensure that all work is carried out in line with best practice guidelines
- Work closely with stakeholders
- Contribution to various automation-focused projects
Knowledge of the following would be a benefit in your application.
- Experience with Google TensorFlow
- Experience with Python
- Strong hands-on coding background
- Solid understanding of Postgres
