Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and conscientious Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, cleaning, and analyzing data collected from various sources, ensuring high-quality outputs that support our organizational goals. Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in all mandatory training sessions and daily debriefings to stay aligned with project objectives and updates.
- Verify the quality of data before entry, promptly reporting any discrepancies or issues to the immediate supervisor.
- Track and report progress related to data entry timelines to ensure deadlines are met efficiently.
- Accurately input data from multiple tools using the agreed-upon formats, maintaining consistency and precision.
- Conduct thorough data cleaning and summarization, preparing clear and concise reports based on the entered information.
- Develop statistical tables to organize, sort, and cross-tabulate data for deeper analysis.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining the results of data analysis to inform decision-making processes.
- Suggest improvements to current data collection methods to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain proper documentation of data collection tools and systematically file all digital and physical data.
- Regularly save data entries and statistical outputs to prevent data loss and ensure data integrity.
- Organize both hard copy and electronic data systematically for easy retrieval and review.
- Communicate any professional challenges encountered during data collection or entry promptly to the supervisor.
- Present daily data summaries and updates to the supervisor at the end of each workday.
- Report to the supervisor before and after each workday to receive direction and provide updates.
- Ensure the proper handling and verification of completed household visits and questionnaires daily.
- Implement all activities in strict accordance with gender equality, child protection sensitivity, and safeguarding policies.
- Foster an inclusive work environment that respects diversity and eliminates discrimination based on gender or manageable disabilities.
- Adhere to COVID-19 and other relevant safety protocols during all field activities to ensure personal and team safety.
