UX/UI Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented UX Design Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our team and ensure the highest standards of user experience across Shopify projects. In this role, you will work closely with UX designers, developers, and project managers to review design assets, test Shopify themes, and validate responsive designs. Your expertise will help maintain visual consistency, identify design issues, and uphold UX best practices throughout the development lifecycle. This position requires a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of UX principles and Shopify environments.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate effectively with UX designers, developers, and project managers to fully understand UX design requirements specific to Shopify projects. You will conduct comprehensive reviews of design assets, including layouts, graphics, typography, developed sites, and interactive elements, ensuring they comply with established design guidelines and maintain consistency across all deliverables.

Perform rigorous testing of Shopify themes, templates, and responsive designs across multiple devices and browsers. This testing will validate visual consistency and ensure responsive behavior aligns with design expectations. You will identify and document design-related issues such as misalignments, inconsistent spacing, color discrepancies, and font mismatches. Working closely with UX and development teams, you will suggest practical solutions and collaborate to resolve these issues efficiently.

Verify that user interactions, animations, and transitions within Shopify interfaces meet UX design standards and contribute positively to the overall user experience. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and refinement of UX design QA processes and best practices, aiming to improve efficiency and maintain high-quality standards across all projects.

Stay current with the latest UX design trends, Shopify platform updates, and industry best practices. This ongoing learning will enable you to continuously enhance UX design QA methodologies and ensure our projects remain innovative and user-focused.

Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD) is essential. Familiarity with collaborative design tools like Figma or Sketch is also required.
- Strong understanding of UX design principles, including user-centered design and responsive design techniques.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect subtle visual inconsistencies and user experience issues that could impact the final product.
- Excellent communication skills to provide clear, constructive feedback to project managers, UX designers, and development teams.
- Familiarity with Shopify themes, templates, and Liquid programming is highly advantageous.
- Experience with version control systems and design collaboration platforms will be considered a plus.
