Research Intern, Sindh

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Research Support Associate to join our team. This role involves supporting literature review processes, conducting data analysis, and assisting with various research and project management tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in data management tools, and excellent communication abilities to contribute effectively to research projects and donor reporting. This position requires a professional who can work collaboratively with diverse teams and external stakeholders, ensuring high-quality outputs and smooth project operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Support literature review activities by identifying relevant published data and reports, summarizing findings clearly and concisely to inform project analyses. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of key resources and data repositories.
- Conduct basic qualitative and quantitative data analysis using software tools such as Excel and Stata. Develop and maintain primary data collection instruments and manage data repositories through Excel workbooks, ensuring accurate data cleaning and organization.
- Draft and revise sections of donor reports, coordinating inputs from team members to ensure consistency and quality. Assist in preparing compelling PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate project findings and updates.
- Prepare project-related correspondence and take detailed notes during meetings, technical reviews, client discussions, and workshops to capture key points and action items.
- Provide administrative and operational support for projects, including managing communications, organizing meetings and workshops, coordinating travel arrangements, and drafting correspondence for donors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute across various project needs.

Required Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential. Experience with statistical analysis software such as Stata is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present it in an accessible manner.
- Familiarity with data visualization techniques and tools is advantageous, enhancing the ability to communicate data-driven insights effectively.
- Systems thinking mindset with practical understanding of navigating complex work environments and project dynamics.
- Tech-savvy with a keen eye for visual data presentation and the ability to leverage technology to improve research outputs.

- Fluency in English and Urdu is required; proficiency in additional languages is considered a plus.
