Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and client-oriented Business Developer Intern to support requirement gathering, team coordination, and ensure smooth project execution for both new and existing clients. This role involves direct interaction with local clients through product demonstrations, support visits, and relationship management. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams, guiding projects from initial discovery to successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with potential and existing clients acquired via online platforms, conducting discovery calls to fully understand project goals, requirements, and user stories. You will be responsible for documenting, reviewing, and obtaining client approval on the final scope of work, ensuring a seamless handover to the development team.
Translate client needs into clear, actionable tasks and detailed project plans. Collaborate closely with developers and designers to monitor progress and meet deadlines. Act as the main communication channel between clients and internal teams, regularly following up to track project status and resolve any issues that arise.
Lead the onboarding process for all Poncho.pk clients, delivering product demonstrations both virtually and in-person. Conduct regular visits to local clients to address support queries, gather feedback, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction. Maintain an organized log of client issues, updates, and resolution statuses to ensure transparency and accountability.
Work alongside the technical team to plan and prioritize feature enhancements based on client feedback. Draft professional emails, proposals, progress updates, and meeting notes to keep all stakeholders informed. Ensure timely responses and follow-ups to all client communications, fostering strong relationships that guarantee a positive client experience throughout the engagement.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is essential. Candidates should have relevant experience in business analysis, client coordination, or product management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Urdu are required.
Comfort with conducting on-site client meetings and product demonstrations within the city is necessary. A strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and wireframing tools is expected. Candidates must be confident in delivering presentations, demos, and walkthroughs, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively. A passion for digital products and a commitment to client success are key attributes for this role.
