Job Summary
Voltrix Batteries Pvt. Ltd., a pioneering company in lithium battery and energy storage solutions based in Pakistan, is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its product design and development team. This position is located in Rawalpindi/Islamabad and offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic startup environment focused on innovative energy technologies. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing battery packs, enclosures, and mounting structures, collaborating closely with both internal teams and external vendors to transform concepts into production-ready products.

Key Responsibilities
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the creation of CAD models and detailed designs using SolidWorks, particularly focusing on battery packs, enclosures, and mounting structures. This includes developing sheet metal designs and mechanical components, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability. The role requires close collaboration with internal departments and coordination with existing and new vendors to support prototyping, sampling, and production activities. Additionally, the engineer will aid in design validation processes, prepare comprehensive technical documentation, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, although final-year students with strong technical skills are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD tools is essential, with a particular emphasis on sheet metal design and drawing modules. A solid understanding of mechanical components, tolerances, and fabrication processes is required to ensure designs meet functional and manufacturing standards. Effective communication and coordination skills are necessary to work seamlessly with suppliers, fabricators, and engineering teams. Both fresh graduates and professionals with 1–2 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply. Please note, only candidates residing in Rawalpindi or Islamabad will be considered for this role.
