Job Summary
The Marketing Officer role, based in Islamabad, Pakistan, is crucial for enhancing brand visibility and generating high-quality leads across the country. This position involves planning and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns, both digital and offline, while developing a wide range of marketing assets. The officer will manage social media platforms and work closely with Client Liaison Officers (CLOs) and internal teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts. Additionally, the role supports campaigns in Nigeria, maintaining brand consistency and contributing to strategic growth initiatives. Reporting to the Client Liaison Manager (CLM) – Pakistan, the Marketing Officer will align marketing activities with organizational goals and student recruitment targets.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in crafting and implementing marketing strategies that align with the organization’s objectives, identifying opportunities for local and regional campaigns. Collaborate closely with the CLM and CLOs to design marketing campaigns that effectively support student recruitment and lead generation.
Execute integrated marketing campaigns across Pakistan and Nigeria, including Above The Line (ATL) and Below The Line (BTL) activities. Manage and optimize social media campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter to maximize reach and engagement.
Develop and oversee digital advertising campaigns using tools like Google Ads and Facebook Ads to drive website traffic and generate leads. Maintain and grow social media communities through active engagement, content planning, and trend analysis.
Track and report on social media key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI) to refine and optimize ongoing campaigns. Create and localize marketing content including brochures, banners, emailers, blogs, social media posts, videos, and presentations, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
Support SEO initiatives and website content updates by applying best practices to enhance online visibility. Coordinate with designers, video editors, and other creative professionals to produce high-quality marketing materials.
Work closely with CLOs and CLMs to align marketing campaigns with lead generation strategies, sharing insights with sales and recruitment teams. Design nurturing workflows such as email and SMS campaigns to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance weekly and monthly, covering digital engagement, offline campaign effectiveness, and lead conversion metrics. Provide actionable insights to improve future campaigns and optimize budget allocation.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors or agencies to ensure smooth campaign execution. Support marketing initiatives in Nigeria in coordination with the respective CLM.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Media, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-3 years of relevant experience in digital marketing and/or education marketing.
Strong proficiency with digital marketing platforms including Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEO, and content marketing.
Experience with design and marketing tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, Mailchimp, and HubSpot.
Skilled in campaign analytics, reporting tools, and social media insights.
Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience in student recruitment or education consultancy marketing is highly desirable.
Familiarity with CRM platforms and lead nurturing funnels.
Strong content creation skills, including writing, editing, and knowledge of video formats.
Awareness of education industry trends in both Pakistan and Nigeria.
This is a full-time, in-person position based in Islamabad with national coverage.
Monthly salary is Rs70,000.
