Job Summary
Fulcrum Pvt Ltd is looking for a Junior PHP Laravel Developer to join a leading client’s team based in Karachi. This full-time role is situated at DHA Phase 5, Zamzama Commercial, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The successful candidate will play an integral role in developing and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework. Working closely with senior developers, the Junior Developer will contribute to delivering robust and scalable software solutions that meet project requirements and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
The Junior PHP Laravel Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using Laravel. Writing clean, well-documented, and efficient code is essential to ensure the long-term maintainability and scalability of the software. The role also involves assisting in the integration of front-end components with server-side logic to create seamless user experiences. Active participation in code reviews is expected, fostering continuous learning and improvement within the development team. Additionally, the developer will troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software to optimize performance and functionality. Collaboration with senior developers is crucial to meet project goals and deliver high-quality software solutions on schedule.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should ideally hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, although this is not mandatory. The role requires between six months to one year of practical experience working with PHP and the Laravel framework. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is necessary, along with experience in database management using MySQL. A basic understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services is also required. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment is important. Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Knowledge of Vue.js or other front-end frameworks will be considered an advantage. Experience working within Agile or Scrum development methodologies is a plus, as is familiarity with deployment processes and cloud services. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs40,000 to Rs60,000. Please note that this role requires in-person attendance at the Karachi office.
