Job Summary
A leading PSX-listed organization based in Korangi, Karachi, is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to spearhead its financial strategy and operations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the company’s financial planning, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and partnering closely with executive leadership to drive growth and uphold governance standards. This senior leadership role demands a strategic mindset, extensive experience in corporate finance, and a proven track record of managing finance functions within a publicly listed company.
Key Responsibilities
The CFO will be responsible for driving comprehensive financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing cash flows to align with the company’s business goals. Leading statutory reporting and ensuring full compliance with SECP, PSX, and other applicable regulatory frameworks is a critical aspect of this role. The CFO will work collaboratively with the CEO and Board of Directors, contributing to strategic decision-making and managing investor relations effectively.
Establishing and maintaining strong internal controls, risk management processes, and financial governance standards will be essential to safeguard the company’s financial integrity. The role also involves overseeing financial audits, corporate financing activities, taxation, and treasury functions to optimize the company’s financial health. The CFO will prepare detailed board-level reports and financial statements in compliance with IFRS and PSX regulations.
Additionally, the CFO will lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and overall financial performance.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from a recognized institute. A minimum of 10 years of professional experience is required, with at least 3 to 5 years spent in a leadership role within a PSX-listed company. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in corporate finance, capital markets, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Experience in stakeholder management is crucial, especially in liaising with Boards and Audit Committees. Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems, and strategic financial planning is also essential. Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making skills are necessary to effectively manage teams and contribute to organizational success.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
The company offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 700,000 to 800,000, complemented by a performance-based bonus structure that rewards individual and organizational achievements. A company-provided vehicle will be available for official use.
