DevOps Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and skilled professional to independently manage infrastructure, automate deployments, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with development teams to streamline release processes, maintain high system availability, and enforce security best practices across cloud environments. This role demands a proactive individual who can take ownership of infrastructure automation and deployment workflows while continuously improving system reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions that automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure resources. You will be responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid, reliable, and repeatable software delivery. Working alongside development teams, you will help improve and streamline release workflows to reduce deployment times and minimize errors.

Monitoring system performance and availability is critical to this role, ensuring that infrastructure components remain stable and responsive. You will manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), leveraging their services to optimize resource usage and cost. Implementing security best practices within both pipelines and infrastructure will be a key focus to protect systems from vulnerabilities.

Troubleshooting deployment issues, performance bottlenecks, and infrastructure failures will be part of your daily tasks. Staying up to date with emerging DevOps tools and technologies is essential, as you will be expected to recommend and implement improvements to existing processes and tools.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in infrastructure management and CI/CD pipeline development. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience is required. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation is essential.

Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda, or comparable services from Azure or GCP, is necessary. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is also required. Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation purposes is expected.

Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack will be beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are important. Additionally, good communication skills are needed to clearly explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Candidates with experience independently managing deployments and CI/CD pipelines will be highly valued. Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools such as Git, GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions is advantageous.

We offer a competitive full-time salary ranging from Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 150,000 per month. The expected start date for this position is June 16, 2025.

During the interview process, candidates will be asked about their hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, ECS), their familiarity with Docker, Git, GitHub, and CI/CD tools, as well as their ability to independently manage deployments and pipelines.
