Job Summary

As an Area Manager within the Commercial Domain, you will oversee multiple outlets, ensuring operational excellence and an exceptional customer experience. Reporting directly to the Lead of Projects, you will contribute to a passionate mission aimed at reaching 25% of the nation’s population by providing quality food service and innovative solutions that uplift lives.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:
You will be responsible for managing daily operations across all assigned outlets, ensuring workflows are smooth and efficient. This includes implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency, quality, and operational efficiency. Regular site visits will be conducted to audit cleanliness, service standards, inventory levels, and staff performance, guaranteeing that each outlet meets company expectations.

Team Management:
Recruitment, training, and mentoring of baristas and other staff members will be a key focus. You will build and nurture a motivated, high-performing team by developing shift schedules and labor management strategies in collaboration with your team. Conducting performance evaluations and supporting continuous staff development and succession planning will ensure long-term team success.

Customer Experience:
You will ensure that every outlet consistently delivers outstanding customer service. Monitoring guest feedback channels and addressing escalated customer concerns promptly and professionally will be essential to maintaining high satisfaction levels and fostering customer loyalty.

Financial Accountability:
You will take full ownership of the profit and loss (P&L) for each outlet, driving financial targets to successful completion. This involves monitoring daily sales, labor costs, and wastage to optimize profitability. Collaboration with finance and procurement teams will be necessary to manage inventory, vendor relationships, and cost control measures effectively.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Maintaining compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations across all outlets is critical. You will uphold strict quality control protocols for coffee preparation and overall service standards. Regular training sessions and audits will be conducted to ensure compliance, alongside initiatives aimed at controlling wastage and minimizing variances.

Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally as a Restaurant General Manager (RGM) or Operations Manager within the food and beverage industry.
- Proven ability to lead and oversee daily operations of multiple outlets, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions with suppliers and vendors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members.
