Job Summary
MEducation, a dynamic and fast-growing edTech startup committed to revolutionizing education in Pakistan, is looking for a Junior React Developer to join their team on a part-time, remote basis. This position is well-suited for recent graduates or students in the final years of their Computer Science or Software Engineering degrees who are eager to apply their skills in a real-world setting. The role offers approximately 20 hours of work per week, with two days off, providing flexibility and the convenience of remote work. While primarily remote, occasional meetups may be arranged for candidates located in or near Peshawar.

Key Responsibilities
As a Junior React Developer at MEducation, you will be responsible for developing front-end features using React.js to improve the overall user experience. You will collaborate closely with product managers and design teams to design and implement user interface components that are both functional and visually appealing. Working alongside senior developers, you will write clean, maintainable code and actively participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards. Troubleshooting and debugging will be part of your daily tasks to ensure smooth and reliable application performance. Additionally, you will engage in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and virtual team meetings to maintain effective communication and project progress.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a BS degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, either recently completed or currently in the final two years of study. A strong foundational understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential. Practical experience with React.js, gained through personal projects, tutorials, or small-scale applications, is required. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, is important for collaborative development. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a remote team environment are necessary. Above all, candidates must be self-motivated, eager to learn, and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
While not mandatory, familiarity with React Hooks, component architecture, and build tools such as Webpack or Create React App will be advantageous. A basic understanding of RESTful APIs or GraphQL for efficient data fetching and manipulation is preferred.
