Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Estimator Intern to join our team and support the quoting and cost analysis process for custom box packaging projects. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates in packaging engineering, industrial design, supply chain management, or related fields who are eager to gain hands-on experience in packaging estimation and production fundamentals. The role involves close collaboration with multiple departments to ensure accurate and efficient cost estimation, helping to optimize pricing strategies and enhance overall project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
The Estimator Intern will assist in preparing precise cost estimates for custom box packaging, taking into account client specifications, material costs, and production data. You will work closely with sales, design, and production teams to gather the necessary information to support accurate pricing. Maintaining and inputting data within pricing tools and estimation software will be a key part of your daily tasks, ensuring the quoting process is both reliable and efficient.

Analyzing historical data and pricing trends will help you contribute to improving the accuracy of cost estimates. You will also evaluate supplier quotes and material options to identify opportunities for cost savings. Participation in packaging feasibility reviews and cost breakdown meetings will allow you to provide valuable estimation insights. Additionally, you will support ongoing continuous improvement initiatives aimed at refining estimating processes and methodologies.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should be currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in packaging engineering, industrial design, supply chain management, or a related discipline. A strong attention to detail and solid analytical skills are essential for success in this role. A basic understanding of cost estimation principles and packaging production processes is required.

Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with estimation or pricing software will be considered an advantage. The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is important, as is strong communication skills and a genuine eagerness to learn and grow within the field.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

This is a full-time, in-person role with a monthly stipend ranging from Rs15,000 to Rs25,000.
