Key Responsibilities
As a WordPress Intern, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites that meet client requirements. You will work closely with the design team to ensure that each website is not only visually attractive but also easy to navigate. Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code will be a key part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will optimize websites for performance and search engine optimization (SEO) to enhance user experience and visibility. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly will be essential to maintaining smooth website operations. Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in WordPress development will also be expected to keep your skills sharp and relevant.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in WordPress, HTML, and CSS. A strong understanding of JavaScript is mandatory, as it plays a critical role in website functionality. Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development techniques is required to ensure websites perform well across all devices. Knowledge of web performance optimization and SEO best practices is crucial to improve site speed and search rankings. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment is important for success in this role. Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively share ideas and provide feedback. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in JavaScript and HTML/CSS development. Fluency in English is preferred to facilitate clear communication. While a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with jQuery will be considered an advantage, enhancing your ability to work on interactive website features. This is a full-time internship position with working hours from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM, six days a week. The job is based in Nazimabad, Karachi, and offers a monthly stipend ranging from Rs15,000 to Rs18,000. Candidates residing in Karachi are strongly encouraged to apply.
