Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Process Management (BPM) leader to design and implement a robust BPM strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and key performance indicators. This leadership role requires managing a team of analysts and specialists focused on optimizing business processes through detailed analysis, collaboration, and leveraging automation technologies. The successful candidate will champion continuous improvement initiatives, establish governance frameworks, and cultivate a culture of process excellence throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive BPM strategy that supports the company’s objectives and performance targets. Lead, mentor, and coach a team of business process analysts and specialists, fostering their professional growth and enhancing team performance.
Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and automation. Organize and facilitate cross-functional workshops and focus groups to gather requirements, collect feedback, and create detailed current and future-state process maps.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to design and implement process improvements that drive operational efficiency. Define, monitor, and report on process performance metrics, benchmarks, and targets to ensure continuous enhancement.
Establish governance structures, policies, and procedures to maintain consistency, compliance, and accountability in BPM practices across the organization. Develop and deliver training programs and materials aimed at building BPM capabilities and promoting a culture of ongoing improvement.
Partner with technology teams to assess and deploy process automation tools that streamline workflows and increase productivity. Monitor key process performance indicators and trends, providing senior leadership with actionable insights and recommendations.
Lead change management efforts by engaging stakeholders, developing communication strategies, and delivering training to support the adoption of new processes and technologies. Stay current with industry trends, emerging BPM technologies, and best practices, sharing knowledge with internal teams and stakeholders.
Contribute to or lead cross-functional projects focused on business transformation, innovation, and growth initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. A minimum of 11 years of progressive experience in business process management, process improvement, or related roles, with a proven track record of delivering operational excellence.
Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements. Expert knowledge of business process analysis methodologies and tools such as Lean Six Sigma, BPMN, or equivalent frameworks.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels. Proven project management skills, including team leadership, timeline and budget management, and successful delivery of results.
Experience with process automation technologies, workflow tools, and BPM software platforms. Familiarity with system integration concepts, including API documentation, testing, orchestration, RESTful/SOAP web services, message queues, and data transformation formats like JSON and XML.
Ability to work effectively with solution architects, integration developers, and data analysts to support end-to-end process integration. Demonstrated adaptability in dynamic environments, strong problem-solving abilities, and consensus-building skills.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, compliance requirements, and governance frameworks is essential.
