Medical Officer - ICU (Alternate Nights)

Job Summary
We are looking for a committed and skilled Medical Officer to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at our facility in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 13C. This position involves working on an alternate night schedule, providing critical medical care to severely ill patients. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and recovery through expert clinical management and effective collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
The Medical Officer will be responsible for closely monitoring and managing critically ill patients within the ICU. This includes ventilator management and performing advanced life support procedures when necessary. You will work hand-in-hand with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive, individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

Conducting thorough medical assessments, making accurate diagnoses, and prescribing timely and appropriate treatments are essential duties of this role. Maintaining strict adherence to established medical standards, healthcare guidelines, and institutional protocols is crucial to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Additionally, the Medical Officer will be expected to engage in continuous professional development by participating in medical education and training programs that focus on the latest advancements in critical care medicine.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold an MBBS degree with a valid Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) license and registration. A minimum of 3 to 4 years of practical experience in critical care medicine, preferably within an ICU setting, is required. This experience should demonstrate the candidate’s ability to manage complex and high-pressure clinical situations effectively.
