Job Summary
Grand City is looking for a seasoned and strategic HR Manager to lead its core human resources functions and cultivate a people-first culture across the organization. This pivotal role involves driving performance initiatives, aligning HR strategies with the company’s business goals, and enhancing employee engagement and development. Key Responsibilities
The HR Manager will oversee all critical HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management. You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure that HR strategies are fully aligned with the organization’s objectives. Managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, you will ensure a seamless and positive onboarding experience for new employees.
In addition, you will support payroll processing and benefits administration while ensuring compliance with local labor laws. A key part of your role will be to implement and manage performance management systems, including setting KPIs, conducting performance reviews, and developing employee growth plans.
You will also plan and execute initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement, retention, and wellness. Providing expert guidance to leadership and staff on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related issues will be essential. You will assist in developing and maintaining HR policies, compliance documentation, and operational procedures to keep the organization aligned with legal and ethical standards.
Facilitating training programs and workshops focused on leadership development, soft skills enhancement, and compliance will be part of your responsibilities. Finally, you will generate and present HR reports, analytics, and insights to leadership, supporting data-driven decision-making.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. You should have 5 to 6 years of progressive experience in human resources, with at least 1 to 2 years in a managerial capacity.
A strong understanding of HR operations, local labor laws, and payroll systems is essential. Proficiency with HRIS platforms and the ability to leverage data analytics to inform HR decisions are required. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills are a must, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
High integrity, confidentiality, and adherence to professional ethics are non-negotiable qualities for this role.
