Job Summary
Green Cables® is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage all financial transactions, including both fixed payments and variable expenses. The successful candidate will bring at least three years of relevant accounting experience and demonstrate strong financial management capabilities. This full-time role is based in Lahore at 1, Kot Gujjra, 18-KM Multan Road, near Park View Villas. Candidates must be reliable in commuting or willing to relocate before the start date of June 21, 2025. The position offers a monthly salary of Rs40,000.

Key Responsibilities
The Accountant will be responsible for accurately managing and recording all financial transactions, ensuring that fixed payments and variable expenses are properly documented. Compliance with accounting standards and regulations, particularly Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), is essential. The role requires proficient use of accounting software such as FreshBooks and QuickBooks to maintain financial records and generate reports.

Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts will be a key task, along with preparing financial statements and reports as needed. The candidate must apply advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of VLOOKUP functions and pivot tables, to analyze and interpret financial data effectively. Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities are critical to identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial records and ensure accuracy.

Required Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A minimum of three years of professional experience working as an Accountant is required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and standards, with particular emphasis on GAAP compliance.

Hands-on experience with accounting software such as FreshBooks and QuickBooks is mandatory. Additionally, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use complex functions like VLOOKUP and pivot tables, is essential. Experience in managing general ledger functions with precision and care is also necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this role.
